SCVBHS, CHIRAYANKEEZH - WEEK 1 ( 14 JUNE 2023 - 16 JUNE 2023)
This is the first week of our Teaching Practice Phase 2 that is to be conducted as part of Semester IV. This time, I am part of a seven members team in SCVBHSS, Chirayankeezh. The first day of the school 14 June 2023.
We, a group of 7 teacher trainees kickstarted our next journey to SCVBHS Chirayinkeezh as part of the fourth semester internship programme. I was very excited to experience the new school campus, to embrace the new group of innocent faces, and to gather immense experiences that would definitely add extra colours to the pages of my teaching career. We were warmly welcomed by the faculty members and necessary arrangements were made to make us feel comfortable . Since the HM was on leave that day, we couldn't meet her . After having the necessary procedures and meaningful interactions with the teachers , we were sked to engage the vacant classes. I stepped into V standard along with one of my peers. But their class teacher arrived immediately and we stepped out , leaving the class to her.

The next day went as usual. We could meet the HM and she was so sweet enough to ask whether we felt any difficulty in the school and instructed us to let her know if so. That was a respectful and sweet gesture from her part. In addition to that, one of my peers got a chance to sing the morning prayer and every faculty member appreciated her melodious voice. The day was hectic too . We were asked to engage the substitution hours and got opportunity to meet different kinds of students . Handling them and maintaining discipline was a task , but I enjoyed it to a certain extent as I could have an interaction with a variety of students having different kinds of nature.

On the next day, we were asked to co ordinate the students for taking their individual pictures for identity card. We did the task effectively as per the classes allotted to us. Today I had the fourth hour to engage my class , besides, I got two more substitution hours on the same day . We utilised the lunch hours to serve food to the students and to fill their tummies with love and yummy food . Then, I went to 8B class along with my peer Anjana and had conducted a quiz there. The students enjoyed it to a great extent and it did give us a different level of experience too. The day was much exhausted and it was a hectic schedule.
